Last night on Storage Wars, Darrell Sheets pulled a haul of rare Frank Gutierrez painting, which was appraised at 300k. If you do a search for Frank Gutierrez it appears that he is not well-known. Just based on the work I saw last night, I feel it was interesting art to say the least. Maybe rimbaud can clarify this: is the 300k an accurate appraisal? Second, what are other favorite but not well-known artists out there?
