Just caught the end of an mtv special about the Rucker streetball tourney where I guess they followed Fat Joe and his team around. After they won the championship, Fat Joe was talking about staying competative and getting the right players. The last thing he said before the credits rolled was "Yao Ming." Just thought it would be funny to invoke the image of Yao Ming playing street ball in the middle of Harlem.
yeah i know what you mean cause its pretty damn funny to see Yao playing streetball with Francis and Mobley in the compaq center. ; D
I caught it last night. I couldnt understand him I thought he was calling him out but maybe your right. So will Yao accept the offer?
Marbury was out there I'm sure he didnt give up his millions. yao dosent need to play anymore basketball than what he need to although it would defintley be interesting
Several of them go out there... Vince Carter, KG, Francis, etc. Just because you go play streetball doesn't mean you have to give up your millions. Unless you get injured of course...
If you think what Francis and Mobley do is streetball, well you'd probably have a heart attack if you ever happened to catch the Rucker tournament that this special was on. Hell, if you accidentally saw an And 1 mix tape, it would probably be equivalent to seeing that video tape from The Ring. If your phone rings, remember not to pick up. You might be right. You're right. It did sound like he said Yao Ming though. Why would they want Yao Ming to play street ball with them anyway. It seems like Marbury and many other urban players have a hard time accepting him so I doubt they would try to get him to play with them.
I am so glad you you posted this. I was somewhat watching the whole thing but was on the cpu at the same time, the next you know he says something about "Yao Ming" Being defensive about the big guy, I too thought he was being called out. Thanks for posting... anyone else get that too? STuart

Yao Ming is talking too much trash already. Whenever Yao Ming raps or freestylez, he usually raps about drugs, the hoochies and his usual calling out of east coast rappers. I am not surprised. Iis anybody else not surprised of Fat Joes calling out on Yao Ming. lol
I don't think Yao Ming would be interested in Rucker Park Basketball League even if SF wants Yao to join him. ( If he ever ask Yao about it. I would lost respect for Steve.) China and Team Yao would never let that happens. Beside what would he got to gain by playing with thugs and gangsters in a look at me, trash talking nothing but me me basketball world?
