Haha. I believe he said 'sounds like'. And it was after an interview where she stated 'we like to have fun'.

He was never that bad. If you listen to league pass there are worser commentators out there who are boring as hell.

Clyde is no Calvin -- but who is? Calvin was in a league of his own. Still, Clyde is far from "bad" and gets a bad rep on this site.

I should mention that I usually listened to the games via radio and this is the first season I've watched the games regularly. Clyde's been fine. It's a good three-man broadcast team in my opinion.

Yeah I was hoping he was being deliberately sarcastic because that was a pretty awkward interview, lol.

Ah, I thought that was his highlight of the night. Stole Bull's pun.

    "Cartier, he's no gem:grin:"

The three of them together make it work if you're into humor during the games. You can just hear Bull and Bill rolling their eyes sometimes while at the same time you can hear Clyde's smirk.

    Clyde

Captain Obvious is no better - he's still awful.

Only improvement is that he provides fewer inane comments because he's got more competition for air time. That's damning with faint praise.

Clyde is mediocre on a good day. We could find plenty of better candidates to fill his spot. Can we start by offering it to Dikembe?

It says a lot that I rather have the opponents commentary for home games and vice versa for away games. Thank you ESPN for picking up the Celtics game tomorrow.

Compared to a lot of these other announcers, Clyde is in the top 5.
