Hrm, I don't think of Asik as a flopper. Maybe he's just really ticklish in his ribs. On second viewing, the official was clearly visible like 10 feet away, and Asik knew exactly where he was at the whistle, facing right in his direction.
What a BS call.... It's pretty obvious that Duncan altered the space time continuum and created a portal to another dimension to shoved Asik for the rebound.

I'm a little tired of flopping warnings dominating nba news feeds. Maybe they should fine them without releasing the information to the media. It's starting to feel real natzi-ish.
The shaming component is key... superstars getting paid $20M don't care about the fine, but they care about others saying they're a cheating flopper. It needs to be public like this. However the flip side of it is that they need to actually start fining superstars. NBA should not be using this as a bludgeon only against lower level players in order to further the superstar culture, and that's exactly what they're doing right now.
There have been less than 10 this year. How is this dominating the news feed? Also, as OremLK said above, the flops need to be made public for the embarrassment factor, which has more deterrent affect than the fines.
