    What an idiot...trying to pry the ball away from the ref. And then the thrown mouth piece too boot after trying to go after the ref. LOL.

    Amir might have a routine that he grabs the ball everytime after a free-throw... You get to feel the ball without any pressure on you and it allows the player to not feel it as much next time they get it. Should've just let him hold the ball, but Amir obviously over-reacted..

    I'm no fans of the refs but Jones got it right. Sorry, but Johnson had no cause for that and him refusing to let go of the ball came off as an intimidation tactic.

    The only thing sillier than an obsessive need to grab the basketball during somebody else's free throw shooting is to overreact to the point where you are swearing and chucking your mouth guard at the official who won't let you do it.

    Do we even know for sure if it's the "feel the ball" thing that was at issue?

    I think homebody might have been arguing the call, and it's not like officials are receptive to that either, when it's done threateningly and aggressively.
