Aside from the alley-oops in transition for Fields last year, many of the half-court ones came off of set plays. Tyson/Jeffries setting a good off-ball screen, freeing up a cut to the basket. There's been nothing remotely like that in the sadly rudimentary Rox offense so far this year. It's not just a matter of personnel. Tho I think Fields does have more hops than Parsons.

btw, IIRC Harden tossed an alley-oop for Parsons in the last game, but he biffed it.

Parsons actually has the same standing reach/wingspan despite being 2 inches taller, but definately take parsons, considering the contracts especially. chandler has alot of room to grow as a player so hopefully he continues

It was clear last year that Lin and Fields had a special friendship on and off the court, replete with a secret handshake. Maybe that's all Lin needs to play better now is a new secret handshake with Parsons. The pre-game handshake may be the missing element that's holding him back, like a ritual that unleashes the Linsanity.

No Fields' is more athletic and Parsons is a much much better shooter. Defensively maybe Parsons is a lot better too.

I think Lin said before that he and Fields were friends from college, hence their closeness.

If the only thing holding Lin back is a pregame handshake, then someone needs to force everyone on the team to come up with one with him, even those who are supposedly out to ruin him.

Field does a better pregame handshake with Lin, that and alley oops. But he actually shoots worse than Lin, if that is at all possible.

I watched Fields extensively last year. They both have potential but Parsons is a bit better in just about every area, which makes him significantly better.

Lin does have a handshake with Parsons (albeit a very short one, likely due to the new 90-second pre-game limit).

Oh I'm not blaming Rox players or personnel (Parsons > Fields IMO like I mentioned); it was just fun bball to watch. There was one where it even threw MSG's Mike Breen, who was calling the game, totally off guard. Breen was like "... blah blah blah.. OOOH! FIELDS THROWS IT DOWN!"

Not relevant in terms of bigger picture W-L, but fun basketball to watch nevertheless.
