you get consolation point from in and out shots? what's the point? a miss is a miss. he had a bad shooting night.
it's true that they were the one we got Rockets back into the game in 2nd quarter, but they also outscored by Mavericks 27-11 in the last 7 and half minutes

i feel like mchale is not the coach for this team as many of you have pointed out already. however, i also feel like there is no pleasing this board with any coach unless we get someone of pat riley's caliber or something.

I totally agree with your post. His rotations are bizarre, his player communication is awful, his adjustment on the fly is non existent. Its like he reads from a book in stone and doesn't stray from that way ever. He doesn't seem like he's learning from experience. Good thing is he won't be here at the end of the season.

Stretching what floor? He was 3-11 fg and 2-10 3pt. Who was on the floor when mayo was lighting them up?
And when the went on a 27 to 10 run?

Again you ar talking based on stats. In the second quarter Delfino was 2-5 from the 3pt line and was forcing the Mavs to closeout on him. With Lin they were sagging off him despite Lin actually for once shooting the ball well.

As for the second quarter lineup? the damage was done in the first 6 or 7 minutes of the game when Mayo went beserk and Fisher was getting K-Man good looks. If anything Douglas is the one who stemed the bleeding. Fisher was getting by lin to easily.

I disagree. I always give coaches a fair shake, but when we get consistently outcoached night-in, night-out.. I think it's more than reasonable to question the top dog. Im sure McHale is a good person, just as Frank Bush and Brad Mills... But, that does not excuse them from doing their jobs.

So we get blown out as if we were a junior varsity team by a contender, and it's par for the course. Then we have a back-to-back where we lose close to an average team like us, and it's McFail again?

The way they're playing Harden....he's gonna end up with a season ending injury. Book it.

The coach in Houston is a joke, who makes Rox game almost unwatchable.

The worse moment of the game: How could CP totally ignore the red hot Mayo after a Carter screen in the last key play, right after a timeout? Anybody except the joke coach should know DAL would play that kind of screen to leave Mayo open as the first option, so whoever guarding the screener (Carter) should play switch. This is a young team and it's the coach's job to make sure it's not Mayo beat you at that moment. Anything else would have made much more sense to me.

I agree, this is unacceptable. The owner and the GM should have to take action. There is no courtesy here, or this team is doomed for the many years to come.

You don't get it at all. It's not about losing a game. It's about how you lost a game! It's not DAL play great. DAL played like crap except a hot OJ Mayo. Losing to this kind of team at home with tons of terrible mistakes is purely unacceptable as long as you are a true Rox fan.

I haven't watched the game yet, but I am shocked Jeremy only got 18 mins of burn...I quickly looked at the box score, and he seemed to have played alright...

Well the coach comes back and the 5 game home winning streaks snaps, should have stayed with Sampson! LOL

So the Rockets staff get no credit for getting the Mavs playing below par, but they get all the blame for the youngest team in the NBA making errors?
