1000th post, CC nostalgia, etc

i think it was kinda recent.i think it was in 1999 i visited clutchcity back when it was clutchcity.com.
but i did not visited the BBS. ,

 

I seem to recall it being January of 2000, but not really sure.

 

Back in yore day of yore -- how did posters 'talk' to other posters? Were thoughts better communicated? Did you handcrank your own ice cream?

The new BBS registration was February of 99, was this the same thing?

No, Feb 99 was the start of the new BBS software (before the current version). The switch from .com to .net was after that.

What Im worried about now is that Clutch's name appears to be Brenda??

for the most part, more civility...the average intelligence per poster was way higher..

Wow, I dont think I've seen this many "old-timers" post in one thread in a long time.

The move from CC.com to CC.net took place in December of '99, I think Brenda is Clutch's wife's name.
