Although it can get better, defense isn't the main problem. The defensive slippage in the last two games isn't the whole picture of this season. I will be worried if the trend continues.
Just throwing in a bit of "meaningless" statistic. With the 2nd (3rd after Cav game) lowest opp. fg% in league, we give up 35 fgs, while making only 34.2 fgs per game. That is because we give up 82.5 shots per game while shooting only 78.2 ourselves. So the question is, what does it really matter what % clip our opponent fire at if on average, we shoot 4 less shots then them a game, thus they make more shots then we do anyway.
SaFe, Opponents having more shots is not the problem of defense. It's because of one or more of the following three: 1. Our turnovers: that's an offensive problem 2. Our rebounding: I don't think that's our problem, we are one of the best rebounding teams this year 3. We foul less than the other team: which is good, not bad, defense
