    I agree with this reasoning 100%. Shaq making them at about a 60% clip is what would usually put the kibosh on the strategy, except for all but the most stubborn of coaches, like Don Nelson.

    Are some people seriously complaining that Sampson went with what worked? Parsons, Lin or whoever you thought should be out there you are wrong. Delfino can get hot and he played good defense which is something Chandler didn't do all night. Lin was bad, and Douglas was good. Coach won us this game, with Mchale, I'm not so sure we would've won.

    Who's complaining? I'm a Lin fan and I think going with TD was the right move this game. The Portland game in OT was questionable but tonight Tony was just having one of those nights. He was in the zone.

    Chill. They're young, they'll have off nights, and a night when all our starters are out of rhythm is inevitable.

    This was a great game for the Rockets. The Bench had to step up for the Win and they did. They get the limelight for a night.

    1. Kobe will have to wait another game to get his 30,000 points.
    2. We have star players and we have role players.
    3. The next team playing the Lakers will hack-a-Dwight
    4. Hack-a-Dwight will make it to the Oxford dictionary by th end of 2013.
    5. Poor D'Antoni, his team lost and his best student in Lin no showed tonight.
    6. TD played well tonight, but if he doesn't play well next game people will call for his head again. See Lin as precendent.
    7. Told you guys Sampson should not take Harden out. I am so right!

    I still can't believe just how bad Dwight's FT shooting is. How is it possible to get worse after 8 years in the League.

    If he was a Shaq or a Wilt shooting 50% would be acceptable but he has zero post moves.

    When you feel there is nothing to lose, you play better. That's probably the bench's mentality. They don't have the burden to carry the team to a win and nobody would blame them for a supposed loss anyway, so they play without fear. And that kind of mentality can bring out the best performance of the players.

    You lose more credibility by the day.
    Sampson has quietly done a superb job in McHale's stead yet you insist on finding ways to complain about him.

    I know what your issue with him really is though, and honestly you should let it go. It is coloring your perception and apparently hindering you from enjoying a surprisingly exciting season thus far.
