[Cinema] Shane Carruth's "Upstream Color"

    In 2004, Shane Carruth (Stephen F. Austin grad) directed arguably the best first film of the 00s. At a budget of $7k Primer took the top prize at Sundance in 2004. Then dude went MIA. Well his second film, Upstream Color, is premiering at Sundance 2013.

    Primer is a really cool cerebral sci film. Also, Carruth worked on the time travel SPFX for Rian Johnson’s Looper

    I wish i was a part of the movie making process. Sounds so awesome. Wouldn't know where to begin to get into it or what do in school. Anyway, Will watch Primer tonight!
