Dunno about this thread. Went to Vancouver for a couple of days and I absolutely loved it! I would totally live in Vancouver in the summer, the weather is perfect, the Chinese food is good, and people are really friendly there.

Toronto, I only stayed for a day and again, food was good, however, sightseeing at night was kind of a fail and fall weather is kind of gloomy. Bright side is that I would probably never see a hotter girl for the rest of my life at the airport and she's an immigration officer! Kind of remind me of a cross between Kelly Kelly and Maryse from WWE. Jeeesh, wonder what could've been out there in the city if I stayed longer...

Yeah Toronto is definitely a second tier city in comparison to a GOAT tier city like Vancouver. Sorry Toronto, you are great but Vancouver is just superior.

I really don't understand why you think they're losers because no one is buying their commodity *at this point in time*

It's plausible to think that it'll be sold at some point in time... right? It's oil. I really don't think they have anything to worry about.

But don't you know that Texx visited Calgary and has come to conclusion that Canada sucks. That's like going to some trashy or boring town in the US and saying that America sucks!

I"m not sure whether to take you seriously or not on some of the things you say. You sound like an ignorant and arrogant prick. I'm American but after traveling to Canada a bunch of times in the past, I find Canada a much better place to live. Friendlier people, better women, world-class cuisine, higher quality of life, and overall the "Switzerland" of North America.

You have to remember, being on top also comes with a hefty price tag. That means we owe everyone else a ton of money to sustain our unsustainable economy, our economic growth if flagging, by become shale dependent, we have just alienated every last one of our Middle Eastern allies and become more susceptible to future jihadist attacks, and of course, an extremely "uncultured" country.

This. Vancouver is the most scenic city in North America. Even nicer than SF, as much as it pains me to say.

Great mountain backdrop, scenery, and proximity to Whistler.

Sounded more to me like he was trying to keep his job. His attack on "Canada Boy" makes it sound like he got his ass handed to him in conversations and had to sit there quietly like a good little boy and just take it.

in my work we get lots of canada calls on sales side. I am not sure what they are doing in canada with their immigration but it has gotten to the point where over 80% of the folks that call from canada are asian barely speak english fresh off boat.

Isn't prostitution legal in all canada or just parts? Maybe bigKKK can wipe that grimace off his face and finally get laid.
