or they could offer one of the older PFs, if they really want it this year (though Utah probably wouldn't take that). That deal reminds me of Gerald Wallace to the Nets, where they ended up giving Lillard and overpaying Wallace just to salvage something.

I like Smith but his upside is just a role player to me. Brooks could be at least a future great 6th man. Nets have played 13 games. 5 games Brooks got DNP CD. In the other games he is avg just 13 minutes.

 

I would trade any of Douglas, Cook, Delfino, Aldrich + future second round picks + money to Sacramento for Jimmer Fredette.

Yes he's a worse defender than TD, but he can't be worse as a playmaker and he'll space the floor for Harden like very few can.

Perhaps he's the type of player that takes a few years to get going, like Reddick.

 

that's interesting. i've no idea if they'd do it, but i like it. maybe Patterson or Morris and have the 2nd picks / additional assets coming Houston way instead of the other way around.

But if we can't get my boy Jimmer.. Than hopefully Morey can make a deal for Eric Bledsoe. That's my guy.

 

Trade deadline can't get here fast enough. Not that I want to trade all our guys, just ready to see the next step. PP is showing well, need to move him while he is hot.

 

I was bored and since this is a random trades thread.. Lemme post what i was pondering. If you add LeBron to this team, you think they would be better than the Heat.

IMO, our current starters+ LeBron looks much more balanced especially on the defensive end. Younger too.

Offensively, Harden seems like a better fit than Wade to be the 2nd option for LeBron since he's a better shooter than Wade.

Anyway, one can dream.

 

Oh and by the way, that Rockets lineup with Bron would be the most interesting and the most exciting team to watch in the NBA.

i would bring Lin off the bench with that roster, btw. One of Cook, Morris, Patterson or Delfino starts, depending on the matchup.

 

morey should make a move for bledsoe. he's too good to playing backup especially when chauncey just came back

Add 2 second-rounders going to Kings.
Pretty good for Houston. They can either put Evans as 6th man and he can lead the bench which would then be Fredette, Evans, Delfino, Morris, Smith or we could at times start Evans over Lin.
