Frankly, all this X player destroyed Y player talk is juvenille. Whether that's Lin playing well tonight or Lillard hurting us with Portland.

Basketball is a team game, where you set screens, there's rotation, there's switching. Defense is a team game, and so is offense. Yes, occasionally you will see someone defending poorly and it's very obvious that they are not contributing to the teams defense in a positive way, but to constantly look at the box scores of players who happen to be against 'each other' on the same position and use that to make any kind of judgement about the players is to completely ignore all of the nuances, tactics and teamwork that make it such a great sport to begin with.

Also... there's a reason why ELITE players are considered ELITE. Because they are hard to stop. There's no shame in an elite player doing well, but if you can, as a TEAM, slow them down enough that you end up with W, well, that's what it should be all about.

The Detlef Schrempf comparison is actually quite good. Good to see Parsons really putting in another good game after an outstanding game against the Knicks. Consistency for young players are difficult, and he's getting it!

That's what it is. Then again there is a plan for the team and Lin was part of the plan. The corner 3 was deliberate. Like I said before, the Knicks will regress back to a 45 win team and Lin will average his expected stats.

Just watched the Lin dunk replay, his knee must be feeling better cause he took off from the dotted line. I wasn't sure if he could actually dunk again this season!

I got that from a Raptors forum. I should've quoted it.

All players lie/down play injuries. They always say there healthy when usually they really aren't. It is frustrating.

Anyway I wanted to comment on that fast break lay up that Parsons had. He got the bucket but that was a really dumb shot to take. It was a 1 on 4 fast break I believe & his teamamtes were open around him for shooting purposes. Parsons played well but he tends to force things sometimes with some bone headed plays. He calls his number a little to much to score when he should pass but right now he is feeling it offensively so it is ok. I would just prefer better decision making. Otherwise great game.

The back court had like 20 assists that is huge. Lin dunked which shows he has his swagger back and seemed really confident with his shooting. Hopefully he just needed closure from the NYK game & now can just play his game. His defense was solid again. I liked how he took over in the 4th quarter. There was a time that Harden wanted the ball but he refused & attacked for a bucket. He made things happen in the fourth.

Harden plays way to many minutes he won't last the season if the Rockets keep this up. Sampson isn't a good coach his substitution patterns leaves a lot to be desired. There needs to be better balance between the play making of the back court. Parsons is being asked to create a lot more than I think he should. He was successful today but against better defensive teams I don't think he will be as successful. Harden & Lin should share that role.

Asik was good today. A few times he needed to dunk it but he owned Toronto on the boards. He ran the break & delivered a great pass to Lin for a layup. Point center!

Great game happy we got the win. This one was for you Sasha. RIP.

Wow everybody played well. Easily Lin's best game as a Rocket. Hopefully he can duplicate this or anywhere close on a consistent basis.

Rockets players are just smarter and selfless. The Raps fan got it right.

Love the consistency from our major contributors. Hopefully this becomes a norm.

Agreed, this team is fun to watch. I hope Lin can play consistently like this for the Roxx.
