It would also be better if somehow somebody pushes the Chinese national team to hire an international coach, somebody from Yugoslavia. Maybe some company can pay for the coach's salary in exchange for advertisement.

here's the sad thing, it's all about fan support in China and as big as Yao is right now, bball will always play second fiddle to soccer in China. China hired a big name coach (the ex U.S.A, Mexico coach) and payed him big time for to coach the team to the world cup. Yet they still use homegrown, poorly develope coach to coach bball, that's so BS.

There is foreign coaches in CBA. Pro Basketball is gaining momentum in China. Pro basketball is plagued by corrupt officiating. Basketball in China has a bright future.

And the former Chinese National team coach Wang Fei studied in the NBA.

Really, Wang Fei studied in the NBA? What was he the towel boy? Jk, I wonder if he was one of the assistant's assistant, highly dobuted. I think China needs to hire some one who has won in the NBA or somewhere huge, i.e. Yugo coach or something. Need a name and some one that wouldn't have to answer to the higher ups so he can have more room to operate. That's why Milo was great for our soccer team, he did what he thinks was good for the team, he isn't afraid of higher ups, there are enough teams/countries out there who would love the have him if China let nhim go.
