I am sure Rudy knows this but if there is any way to put extreme emphasis on next tuesdays game at Min, some one needs to do it. With that win, they gain a tie breaker vs. Min which will be EXTREMELY important down the road because if the rockets lose that game they will likely lose the tie breaker due to Min more then likely having a better western conf record. This game to me is the most important game of the season, next will be the lakers. They have to win at least one of the two remaining games against the lakers to win that tie breaker.

This Friday's game against Minnesota was the "Game of The Year" for Rockets. IMO, it sets precedent and evidence to many doubters that Yao Ming can potentially co-exist with both guards as long as they keep doing the same thing consistently.

I think next 3 games, Rox has pretty good chance if they keep playing like tonight. The Webber-less Kings is beatable and they are on two losing streak at home right now. Cavs should be easy. Actaully the game I am not too sure is the one at Minn. So that game might not be as critical as you describe it to be. But again, every game is important now.

well out of all those games the t-wolves game is the most important because of the tiebreaker aspect. good point to bring up. not really the game of the year, but it is one of the more important ones if the rockets want to insure themselves a playoff spot.

From now on, games against the Wolves, Suns, Lakers, and the Jazz will all be quite important from a tie-breaking standpoint. However, it will otherwise be no more important than a game against, say, the Knicks or the Nuggets.

This 'game of the year' things is REALLY blowing things way out of proportions. I'm not going to lose sleep if they lose.

    WELL FROM NOW ON?!?!?

EVERY SINGLE GAME SHOULD BE IMPORTANT!!!

    Cavs SHOULD be easy?

What if we lose to them?

Anyways, the game will be at Minnesota. We really need to win, but I don't see that happening. :( They will want revenge...

I just hope we win tomorrow against the Webberless and BJackonsless and some more of their good playerless Kings.

I'd be more worried about the cavs than anyone else the way the rockets have been playing this year. It seems like they ALWAYS lose to teams that they should be whuppin' on....hmmm...memphis? golden state? clippers? bulls??? the list goes on...the energizer bunny would probably die before that list ends.

I think that the Min game is extremely important because it would basically give you a one game cusion on Min. let's say they both have a 45 win season, well Min would have to get 46 to get in. Does not sound that big of deal but it really is. Two years ago, the race was really close but all the teams ahead had the tie breaker against the rox due to poor head to head and western conf records. To tell you the truth, if I knew houston will lose to one out of the next 3, the cavs would be the one i would pick them to lose to. Min and Sac count towards western conf record. I know every game counts the same but at this point there is an importance to who they win and lose to. If they just play as a team, I will not complain even if they lose.

Have you guys learned anything by now? The Rockets is very unpredicatable, inconsistant. I've stopped making any predictions for their games.

Don't get too high after a win; don't get to down after a loss.

Well it's not the game of the year. The game of the year was.....

YAO along with his sidekick Steve Francis VS. SHAQ along Kobe!
