So it doesn't matter if he even starts playing much better? Trade him regardless. No offense, but sounds like personal hatred to me.
I don't think I am insulting him in any sort of way. I merely want to know why he hates Cuttino so much.
I don't think simply classifying Mobley critics as "hatas" says anything. I have no problem with him taking the shots he did yesterday. he can shoot 30 shots. Difference is that he normally does not pass and jacks up shots. He didn't prove us wrong. He played better than he has been.
Cat showed signs of potentially getting it. I wouldn't say he got it yet. There will be many more jackups in the future but not as much I hope.
We all know Clutch is the president of the Mobley Hata's club. But, since he responsible for so much happiness in the rockets world, I'll let it slide.
I don't know if he's getting "it", but I do think he's starting to realize that "shots" look a whole lot better when they're wide open and going through the hoop. I hope he's FINALLY beginning to realize that, as good a penetrator Mobley is, he's an even better spot-up shooter and "catch-and-shoot" player. Ditto for Steve.
mobley better gets it; otherwise, he won't be back with the team next year. he's a good shooter, which the rockets need more of. if he isn't forcing some many tough shots, it's not wise for the rockets to trade him. Eddie griffin is another story. imo, EG has to be gone. the rockets don't need their power forward launching 3s, blocking a few shots occasionally and playing no defense. he's not what the team needs: rebound, defense and toughness (someone to protect yao). to compete in the western conference, a team must have power forward that can defend duncan, dirk, cwebb, garnett, brand, malone, and wallace. so, good bye EG!
I THINK EVERYONE GOT IT...SOMEHOW. AMAZING...WONDERFUL GAMES. EVERYONE IS GETTING IT. EVERYONE IS HAPPY. EVERYONE IS SCORING. EVERYONE IS GETTING THEIR STATS. EVERYONE IS WINNING!!! I love it...but we're going to lose tomorrow.
LiTtLeY1521, why do say the rockets are going to lose to the timberwolves? i think the contrary. rockets will win if they keep on playing unselfish team ball.
Well it's a fair statement cuz winning on the road is a lost art in the league today... kinda like offense, but if we win, then all hell has broken loose for the Rockets - in a good way. I don't care if it's the ugliest game in the world if we pull off a W, though.
Chron sportswriters definitely read this stuff (and finally overcame their rudylove to echo it in their columns). Bill Worrell even mentioned the dissenters on "the internet" on the air in the middle of our 1-3 post Lakers hangover. So yes, I think it is entirely plausible that all of our ill will made it to the organization's ears and influenced Rudy to get tougher. Blinebury's column from yesterday or two days ago said it all when the top of Rudy's pre-game white board said "Get Yao Touches". Like it should have been saying all freaking year...
So let me get this straight...after 25 or whatever years with the Rockets as a player, assistant, and coach, Rudy needs some hacks on an internet bulletin board to let him know when to 'get tougher' on his players? You call this 'plausible'? So your theory is that the coaching staff had never thought of this before? Then they decided to pull up the ole Clutch BBS one day, and next thing you know, BAM!, they decide to tell the team to start passing to Ming more, and the team thinks "hey, great idea coach, why didn't we think of this earlier"? LOL.
