Going to Lake Charles

    Wanted to know if there was anything to do besides hitting up the casino at the hotel. I am going for a family reunion/thanksgiving celebration and was just curious if there is anything my family and I could do out there. There will be some minors and adults that are not 21 that cannot go to the casino, so any bit of info will help.

    Hit up KD's at 2 in the morning. It's a great greasy spoon type restaurant and cheap too.

    You gotta get a poboy from Darrell's. I think it was Pole who recommended this place to me several years ago and it is the best sandwich I have ever had.

    That is correct. Darrel's is great. A local recommended it to us when we went over there for a 311 concert at the casino. Boy that sammich was tasty
