The Rockets owe the next first round draft pick they obtain outside of the lottery. If they make the playoffs, they lose the pick. In the lottery, they keep it. This should be common knowledge by now.

So yes, the Rockets will have a lottery pick as it looks like right now. Let's just hope that someone on the roster right now explodes onto the scene in the next few months so we dont have to put all of our hopes & dreams in the next late lottery pick they draft next Summer.
