Springer added another walk to his final line. So... he went 3-3 with 2 homers (1 solo and 1 2-run shot). Jio Mier, who played third and hit leadoff today, had an RBI double and a golden sombrero. Jarred Cosart got the start and went 4 innings. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. Alex Sogard got the victory with a 1-2-3 6th inning, striking out 1, and Chia-Jen Lo got the save, allowing a hit and striking out 2.

George Springer hit his 4th homer in Arizona Fall League play today, as Mesa fell 8-4 to Salt River. He's now hitting .290/.429/.613 with 4 homers and 14 RBI. Springer has also added 4 doubles and 2 triples and has been successful on all 5 of his stolen base attempts. Jio Mier went 3-5 with a double out of the leadoff spot, and he's now hitting .296/.316/.426 with 7 RBI.
