    You're clearly lost.

Andre will not be on Hakeem's level with a title.

Im guessing you are too young to understand.

I absolutely hate doing this, because tinman does this lame ass ****, but you had to witness the amazing things of Hakeem, it's the only way you'll understand.

We can say that Andre is the best Houston football player ever.

I never got to see Campbell play, other than highlights.

Didn't Hakeem demand a trade at a point in his career???

I never heard of anything like that from AJ even in the worse years of the Texans.

The ONLY thing that come close to as negativity :

He has longevity over Campbell as well. AJ has been such an amazing athlete to watch for almost 10 years now.....

That's not a negative. That's Dre taking it to a dirty pansy who didn't know when to shut up.

If he wins a ring, no doubt.

    Exactly my point.

When the Texans win the Superbowl it will overshadow anything Hakeem or the rockets did or will ever do.

Not a chance in hell. Andre is a fantastic wide receiver, but he's never had 1000 yards and double digit touchdowns in any season of his career, and he hasn't won anything yet.

He is, in no way, shape, or form, on Hakeem's level. Not at all.

    I dont understand your point.

Hakeem played for 17 seasons...carried them on his back to 2 championships.

    1 MVP award
    12 all star games
2 defensive player of the year awards
    9 all defensive teams
    12 all nba teams

9th in NBA history in steals...for a center!
1st in NBA history in blocks.
11th in NBA history in points.

I dont even know why I'd have to give any justification...Hakeem was, is, and will be the all time Houston sports legend, unless someone can come in and take over the world.

The Texans not winning anything is totally Andre Johnson's fault.

Your opinion is invalid. Football rules anything and everything here.

    1 Superbowl >1994-1995 NBA Championships .

    Youre clearly not understanding...

Houston TEXAS...is all about football...this is a football town...even when we were pathetic...the seats still sold out...Andre means just as much to Houston Texans football as Hakeem meant to the Rockets...

Hakeem was arguably the best ever to play the game...Andre is the best ever Texan to play the game(still a bit to go before he can be considered HOF among WR)

but if Andre is the reason we win a title this year...he will be 1b...no question...
in an era with Tom brady, Manning brothers, Rodgers, Brees and Dominating D's 49ers, Ravens, Bears, Steelers...if the texans win it all...Dre will get his props...

I love Andre and WHEN he leads us to our SB title, it will be something special, but Hakeem brought this city its first major sports championship and nothing will ever take away from that.

Yeah, if we win a title, Andre can be second, after Hakeem.

I misread your post...i thought you said Andre 1a, Hakeem 1b in your post.

Just look at the attendance of the Rockets.

Toyota Center and MinuteMaid Park is a ghost town.

Even in the worst years of the Texans they would still sellout.

I'm not saying that him winning anything is keeping him from being a legend, but you can't honestly tell me he's on Hakeem's level. That's pure insanity. The stats back it up. The legacy backs it up. The rings back it up.

The only thing I'll agree with you on is a Super Bowl is much more monumental than NBA championships.

Hakeem is one of the Top 10 NBA Players of ALL TIME.

Andre Johnson isn't even close to being a top 10 player, heck, he isn't even close to being a top 10 receiver all time.

He's a Houston legend, but he's just not on Hakeem's level at all. His popularity might be, but not his actual legacy.
