No surprise that Dooley has been canned, but the timing is a bit odd in my mind. Doing it now rather than after the last game of the season next week implies that the loss to Vanderbilt was the last straw. If I'm a Tennessee fan, the fact that it was then and not several weeks ago that they made the decision that Dooley was gone would worry me.

Are you saying that Oregon hasn't beaten a team with more than 7 wins under Kelly? That is almost unbelievable.
Amen. I'm tired of the pee-pee offenses making everybody wet then having to hear about how the SEC isn't good because they only play SEC teams. If you don't play D you're not elite. "Nah, nah bro, Oregon can play D this year, USC only put up 50pts on them, it's all good brah" - get outta here.
Man I thought this week was going to be boring. Easy to say now, but KSU was overrated and waiting to be exposed. I think Bama-ND are probably the most deserving for the title game, which is sure to be a shi tty game. I hate this year in college football
I was right there with you. I looked at the slate and couldn't believe how ugly the schedule looked. I was clearly wrong.
Is Alabama boring because they play good Defense and balance their running and passing game almost perfectly while having an above average special teams? Ohhhh so that's the key to success in college football...I would have never guessed.
whooopssss. Oh well. I'll take boring, traditional football that provides wins over teams that care more about their uniforms and how quickly they can score.
Yep. Like aTm. Who runs the spread. And just kicked your ass. I miss Spurrier and Meyer at Florida, and the old-school Florida State and Miami teams, they played nasty defense yet still somehow knew how to run an O. Same with USC/UT/Auburn (and a few of the recent LSU/Bama teams)/etc...
Eh, hell, I'd love to see the cornfed boys from Nebraska run the Tommy Frasier all the hell over the SEC like they did. Wanna talk about defense?
Ahh yes, nothin' like watching those run-run-run-punt games between the Indianas and Iowas of the Big Ten.
Tired of the Big 12 teams continuously embarrassing themselves then somehow not collectively dropping in the BCS. KSU lost to unranked Baylor man, they need to droppppppp. Instead I'm gonna have to see Baylor shoot up the polls. Jesus.
