None of us hates Steve... ok, maybe a few, but the number is very very small. So many of you claim to be Steve haters, but come on now, I know it's not true, and YOU KNOW IT TOO. When we talk about trade for Brand, most of us would agree to give up EG and Cat, but NONE of us would even consider trading Steve. Why? BECAUSE WE LOVE HIM!!! He's done so much for this team, and before Yao's coming, he alone IS the Franchise. And in a way, he still is.

Sure, he's got bad games, and his bball IQ isn't the best. However, who thinks he's not going to continue to grow until he becomes a future Hall of Famer? He's 25, and he's one of the best point guard in the NBA! And we want to get rid of him??? After bad games in which he does stupid things (there are quite a few unfortunately:( ), people get caught up in their emotions and say things like "Trade Francis", "I am a Steve Hater" stuff. However, if we calm down and sincerely ask ourselves, we know WE LOVE HIM. We all do! Can you deny it?

From his arrival onward, I have never been a big fan of Francis. Impressive athletic ability, great leaper, showtime dunker, tough, relentless, tireless BUT, questionable shot (has improved), streetball instincts, poor passer, not a real playmaker, etc. HOWEVER, if the Rockets continue to play as a team like they did the last two games, I don't care what their record is, playoffs or not, the season will be a success, IMO. I love team play, I love crisp passing, I love assists, I love motion, I love disciplined, organized, well executed basketball. For most of the season I have witnessed basketball garbage. PLEASE, PLEASE ROCKETS KEEP IT UP! I may even become a Francis fan.

Before I make any judgement, I'm just going to watch the rest of the season and see how he gels w/ this team. We will see if he becomes a mature leader on the court or falls flat on his face.
