Didn't listen that far into it, but actually hits the tween, concerned parent and holiday market pretty precisely. Doesn't seem to have the same overtly sub-literate lyrics as Friday and probably would have been a better debut single for the producer. Try to think back specifically to Debbie Gibson and Tiffany, and just how home-made their first productions appear in retrospect: a lot of camcorder mall footage in those videos. Incidentally I think these serve as decent video resumes for media-aspirant kids with well to do parents, the producers probably have a reasonable number of audition requests so I don't think it's going away anytime soon.
Here's what I got out of that video. Apparently 8-10 preteen kids live in this house with the only supervision being from a mid-20's black guy in a turkey suit...and then the singing girl says "It's Thanksgiving and nothing is forbidden" **** just got REAL.
