I would love to see us pick up Mayo for a ~9m per type of deal this offseason. He seems like the perfect piece next to Harden and he can opt out of his 4m per deal next season.

    Mayo/Lin
    Harden/ Mayo
    Parsons/ Morris
    Jones/ DMO / Patterson
    Asik/ Smith

Would give up just about any on the squad for Eric Bledsoe. That kid is a superstar in the making IMO. Serious game. The Clippers have a great thing going and are a serious contender this year...

    lets see...

Kanter -- a 20 year old who was the #3 pick in the 2011 draft, who plays ~15 solid minutes in Utah, despite competing for minutes with Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and Derrick Favors, all very good players.

    for

Donatas -- a 22 year old who was the #20 pick in that same draft, who plays in the D-League because he couldn't beat Greg Smith for minutes.

Utah will be excited to trade.

Mmmm....Morris is starting to come into his own. He's not Millsap yet, may never be, but he's improving. And Utah already has Marcus Morris, except his name is Marvin "Atlanta Should Have Drafted Chris Paul" Williams.

Now, if it were Pitty Pat and Cook and 2nd rounders for Millsap, or MAYBE DMo and Cook (although DMo is still McHale's Great White Hope; we don't know what we have there), then, maybe.

Morey's gonna hold onto that cap space for, at worst, a Bosh-type player, even if he has to wait until next offseason. (I think, but he could surprise.)

I'm a big fan of Mayo's, but I don't think he can run the PG. And even if you asked him to, I don't think he'd co-exist well with Harden, as both guys need the ball. That being said, if they did find a way to co-exist, that'd be a deadly backcourt.

Lin for Novak. Novak would be awesome doing what Lin is forced to do in the game.

i don't know about the idea of paying Mayo 9 mil. But you wouldn't be running him as a traditional point guard. He seems much better suited for the role that Lin's playing right now.

Mayo is 25 and has no history of injuries, and is proving to be a top-notch offensive player in a league devoid of SGs. If DeRozan can get 46/4, you can assume Mayo will get his $$$ in FA (if he keeps up his currrent play).

    That's irrelevant.
I think Mayo fits with the Rockets, but giving him 9 mil would mean passing up on any max free agent in the near future.

Has anyone else seen G Alexey Shved from MIN play. I like him he is a rookie dont know what it would take to get him. Really passes the ball well, plays with confidence as well.

With R. White looking like he is going to tap out. Who going to get the 15th spot? Has Livingston been picked up yet?

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bspuev2

    Cole Aldrich & Donatas Motiejunas
    ..for...
    Markieff Morris & Kendall Marshall

They get a solid back-up center and power forwad with more up-side
We get a rookie point with some up-side and the other brother for marketing

Yes. Just got picked up today.

Id say Kyle Fogg. The Rockets need help at the wings, and Fogg actually looked like a very decent 3 point shooter in preseason. The Rockets could use some decent 3 point shooting around their "space the floor" offensive sets.
