http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/18/m...ocialflow&smid=tw-nytmag&pagewanted=all&_r=1& If you could feel no pain would you consider that a gift or a curse? I guess you probably need to take more precautions, but I thing it would be awesome to be able to lift or run to the max. You don't feel the effects of lactic acid.
Curse. You'd end up devoting so much of your life constantly checking yourself and visiting doctors, it wouldn't be much a life. Pain is how your body tells you that something is wrong. Easily treatable conditions like an appendicitis are life threatening things you'd have to check for regularly because you'd ever feel the pain from the inflammation. Horrible way to live.
Definite curse. Wouldn't wish that on anyone. Would only be a gift if you had Wolverine's mutant healing.
Curse because you can't tell inner diseases that could possibly threaten your life or very well-being.
Depends on how you use it. Spoiler "I always wondered why nobody did it before me. I mean, all those comic books, movies, TV shows. You think that one eccentric loner would've made himself a costume. I mean, is everyday life really so exciting? Are schools and offices so thrilling that I'm the only one who fantasized about this? Come on, be honest with yourself. At some point in our lives we all wanna be a superhero."
Having no pain is like having no car alarm or home security. You wouldnt know something is wrong until its probably too late.
