I have a '93 Honda Prelude V-Tech. I am getting a Blackwidow body kit sometime before easter which will make my car look like this once it is finished. But mine will be black. Any of ya'll have a Prelude? It would be nice to see some pictures of a different variety of styles and models with different people's tastes.
I had a white 1992 Honda Prelude SI that wound up being nothing but the worst headache that I have ever had. The dumbass that had the car before me just literally drove it into the ground. Then I come along and become the biggest pigeon ever in taking on this lemon. After one year and what seemed like over $5,000 in repairs, I got rid of it. I then drove a hunter green 1994 Toyota Camry LE V6 that was INFINITELY better. Very good car, but I missed the sportiness that I had with the Prelude. So, on Memorial Day of 2001 and after spending 2 and a half years with my Camry, I traded it for my current car....a white 1997 Nissan Maxima SE. This car is fantastic. I have only had one problem with it and I think that was more of the service department ripping me off. I also, unfortunately, had my only wreck (and hope that it is my last) with this car about a month after buying it. It has a sunroof (or moonroof), spoiler, power everything, tilt wheel, the big tires, V6 engine, and the best of all - a Bose sound system to go with a dual CD player and tape player! I don't plan on getting rid of this car any time soon. It is truly a 4 door sports car.
'97 Infiniti I30t Funny, Manny, my car is basically a souped up and fancified Maxima...so I am sure our cars have some similarities (beyond the ones you already listed).
'94 Chevy Silverado, or the "big green monster". It's not fancy and the gas mileage isn't great, but it gets me where I need to go (and makes me feel like a real "Texan") .
1997 Black Nissan Maxima with about 119k on it. Has had 2 unscheduled repairs on it now. One of them was covered by warranty. Can't complain. This car has been the definition of reliability. Next car will more than likely be an Infiniti G35 or something similar. Of course I'm hoping to get at least another 30-40k out of this car before buying a new one.
You are a lucky son of a gun. There is quite the waiting list for these. How far in advance did you have to order?
Hey, I ordered it back in January and got it in August. But, not too lucky these days, I got into a pretty bad accident with it, and it's in the shop till March ... from Dec 27th to March!!!
Why so long? If the accident was not your fault, I hope you're getting a lot of compensation for it. If it's severe, I'd demand it be totaled.
How do you like the 350Z?? I have a down payment and am waiting for my Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe to arrive. I can't wait to really see if I want it when it gets here because i've only driven one that wasn't very similar to mine that I ordered. Mine is the 6-Speed Top of the line one with the Brembo brakes. Black/Black Leather with the Premium pkg, Aero Kit and the Navigation system. 280 HP, style and a fantastic ride for 38K is a great deal for me. Also a 4 yr/60K mile warranty with a 7yr/70 on drive train and free service for 3 years makes it nicer. I'm trying to decide between that, a 2003 CLK Mercedes or a 5-Series BMW sport. Comments anyone?? I currently have a 1996 Lexus SC400 and a 2001 Lincoln Navigator but will get rid of the Lexus.
'89 Acura Integra. Soon, will most likely (hopefully) be driving a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe... possibly V-6...leather...unlikely. <img src="http://auto.consumerguide.com/images/autoreview/lrg/03802041990001LRG.jpg"> <img src="http://auto.consumerguide.com/images/autoreview/lrg/03802041990003LRG.jpg">
2002 Acura RSX Type S (will be sold soon) & 2003 Nissan 350Z track edition (just picked up this week).
Smokey: It's taking a long time cuz Nissan hasn't released all the parts for the car yet. Out of the 7 pieces needed for the suspension, 5 are on backorder. As far as declaring it a total, things are not THAT bad (~9K in damages) so they won't go for the total. F.D.: The car is excellent. I can't say enough good things about it ... feels great, drives great. It has a very driver-centric layout and the drivers seat is very nice, the seat completely hugs you on all sides and you don't slide here and there on sharp turns, unlike other leather seats I've been in. The power is incredible too ... you just nudge it a little, and the car just takes off. The only negative part is the average quality of the "premium sound package" ... it's a 260-watt, 7 speaker Bose system, but it's nothing wow at all.
