I *really* hope this isn't true.

If it is, instead of being an example he's just going to make life even harder for others that do suffer from his disorder.

Some people should just say "No" to Twitter.

    Exactly.

You're not going to be given PT just because the reason you're behind the curve is different from someone else (injury, lack of talent, etc.).

His condition got in the way of him getting up to speed with the team, and as a result, his PT has been reduced. Simple math.

Just because it was anxiety that sidelined him, doesn't mean he's different from anyone else who misses the boat. The only difference here is, the Rockets are willing to work him through it over time. And he should be thankful for that, not pissy and ungrateful.

This has become beyond ridiculous. Dude....stop tweeting. If you're that anxious right now, go see your Dr. Stop stirring the pot. If not starting will agitate your condition, what do you think tweeting controversy is going to do?

ENTITLED to be a started due to potential medical reaction?!?!?!?!?

That is both the funnies and dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Royce should goto D League. I mean, if he wants to play every night, he'll get minutes there. It's not like he's not getting paid while in the D-League, go down there, play, get health, and prove yourself. Morris, Patternson both did, and you can add Jeremy Lin to that list...

It's one thing that he's mentally ill, it's another that he's hosting Rockets hostage over playing time with his illness, (maybe that's part of the illness, I dont know). Just seems like Royce is putting himself before the team. Royce should realize that this is the pros now, you get paid to do a job.

I can't believe this. I just can't. I mean, I've liked White up until this mess... but no. I need to have some faith in the limits of human stupidity.

Is this a trolljob? Did I misread the calendar and this is just Clutch's annual gag on April Fool's?

His immaturity got in the way, not his condition. He could have approached the team about alternate travel arrangements before training camp but instead chose to make a major production out of it and miss time.

What is he going to say:

Play me 20 min a game or I will have anxiety
I have to shoot 20 times per game or I will have anxiety
If I don't get 20 points per game I will have anxiety

Where would it stop - Doesn't seem to be a limit on what he can claim anxiety over

Too sick to play imo - I feel for him - it has to be tough to deal with but they should treat it like any injury case - when he can demonstate some stability with himself on the court then consider going forward but the Rockets don't owe him anything. Seems to me they have already given more than they have received.

    So, the situation is resolved???

He needs to play and he'll get plenty of PT as a Viper. Show is over, RIGHT?!?

Damn this isn't an anxiety issue it's an entitlement issue. Dude doesn't get PT so he's going to use his anxiety as a crutch to avoid practice or work hard.

In the meantime any future draftees better keep their mouths shut if they have anxiety or any other issues because it will definitely be a huge red flag.

He handled it poorly, likely because he was nervous/scared about the situation. I completely believe that his anxiety/mental disorder may be the reason he has acted as he has this entire time. But like I said, even if that is the case, it still results in him being unable to be an NBA player.

If he refuses to play for the Vipers, can the Rockets void his contract?

I'm gonna say yes.Injury is one thing, but flat out refusing to do your job is another entirely different case.

You say yes, but what are NBA regulations?

This would be stupid on the Rockets part. Imagine him going to the Bobcats or some other talent-barren team, they play him lots of minutes, and he explodes. The Rockets would look stupid.

I don't know if they can do this, but the Rockets should just suspend him indefinitely until he actually does his job. And keep his rights to prevent him from playing anywhere else in the NBA. They spent a 16th pick on him. No way they're letting him get off so easily by simply cutting him. They want White to succeed with the Rockets, or not at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets play the patient Mom.

Let White run through his tantrum, sit him in a corner, then wait for him to accept the help and support he needs while he works it out in the D-League.

Time to commit this kid...and I am really being serious...the kid is starting to lose reality and completely in a dream world...he really needs a legit psychiatric evaluation..this fear of meeting with team doctors, anxiety induced because he is not getting what he wants.. etc etc..is not anxiety disorder guys...
    this is more paranoia...
