Royce White skips game and practice (UPDATE: White issues statement)

I haven't abused my F5 button like this since the Dwightmare.

 

Legitimate question is can he ball with his issues and does the team really think he is more than an asset or digit?
After all he is another player who hasn't proven himself yet.
Majority of fans still put the team's success before his own individual success.
He can succeed somewhere else. It's not an issue. Unfortunately.

 

In "good" news, the Rockets are getting more media attention. The story is starting to pick up steam in the non-sports media world. I just hope the Rockets continue to look like the good guys (i.e. Royce tweets non-stop).

Because part of his 'illness' is that he thinks he is better than everyone else and better than D league. This guy is lazy and wants to start. He really is twill 2.0 except surprisingly at least twill showed up to practice and kinda played along.

This white guy is expecting playing time when he hasnt even been around? The outer space mindset of delusion as to who he is and what he is has become is the most troubling.

Everyone has to earn playing time. He needs to go to the d league and average 45 a game. Truth is he wont do that when he realizes its big huge men in the d leaugue too and he is not as special and unique as he thought. I wish he would go down to dleaugue put up 45 and shut me up, but sad to report he wouldnt score 45 and aint all that anyway.. basically he is looking like a huge piece of sh**it right about now.

In his head, he's being transparent. When in reality, he's being cryptic and extremely unprofessional.

 

This so-called doctor looks like a quack! Can't even formulate sentences that make sense or complete a 3-line email without making multiple grammatical errors. Also doesn't even have the professionalism to address his patient as Royce or Mr. White.

Also, I checked out his background at http://www.aaronhfinkmd.com/dr-fink.php and noticed his undergrad was in home economics. With such dubious credentials, it hardly seems like the Rockets hired a top Psych in Dr Fink.

While I sympathize with his plight, there is way to much victimhood in his statements. This probably stems from being coddled for so long and being "the man" in college. So he is having a hard time accepting his role as just a rookie and a backbencher at that.

Everything is about "me me me," his anxiety, how it's his anxiety's fault and the Rockets for not "getting him." This is classic 21st century me-first, attention-first, selfish, i'm the victim, narcissism that we see from a lot of younger people (I'm young too but I see it all the time). We live in an entitlement society and the Rockets should be "thankful" Mr. White is gracing them with his presence.

Its going too far and unfortunately, I'm not sure this will end well. Maybe Royce should take the year off, get help during that year, come back stronger, apologize to the franchise, and try to work things out PRIVATELY and not in a public forum like twitter--which is insane to begin with.

That is Royce's email to the Dr. Not the Dr.'s email to Royce.

 

I guess if he wants consistency from the Rockets he should consistently show up for practice and games.
