Yep. The pass by Asik, I think, that gave them the lead was AMAZING. Harden can do that too but only on non-big guys. The difference in size just made itself very visible.
I don't understand why so many people are whining about Harden seeing LeBron after the game. They are obviously close friends and won a gold medal together in the summer. It's not like Harden intentionally lost the game or anything (even though at times it seemed like he did). Cut him some slack on that. Now, if you're going to criticize his decision making in the last few minutes, that's another thing.
Obama called ROmney after he got secured enough delegated to get the nomination for the Republican party. He and Obama were not engaged in a campaign against each other at that time, so your argument is false. And yes after the debate you go over and shake each others hand, just like after the game, James Harden can walk over to LeBron on the floor and say hey good job, but you dont go out of your way and do it in the locker room. I dont remember reading Barack walking to Romney's green room, do you? Nice try though.
EXACTLY. I'm sick of everyone wanting to be so nice these days. The NBA is missing the attitude it once had and doesn't need more ass kissers. I understand that they could be friends outside of basketball but it would probably be best if Harden stuck around in his own locker room after a loss like this. I'm sick of these so called "classy" moves by players. I agree that it is good to congratulate each other after a game or a championship but to go to the other teams locker room and ditch your own players like that is low. I guess it's a matter of opinion though. It depends on what you think is morally right. The media doesn't help either.
I think it's unfair for fans to put players into the mold they think they should be. A lot of these players are good friends off the court (LeBron and Harden are) and after an early regular season game, I don't think there's anything wrong with Harden approaching LeBron. Middle of a playoff series is a different question, but this is fine.
How can you blame him. Tough loss but far from the end of the world. Losing to the Heat by only 3 points ... this team showed huge progression in this game. If they can play this intensely against every team, watch out.
Blame the Olympics. Harden and LeBron played together so they were able to bond. Notice nobody from the Celtics participated. That's how they keep their edge despite their age.
This. Show your respect on the court after the game. Don't be going to the opponents locker room looking for a pat on the back from the best player in the league.
Harden should have a lot more assist the way he's the one acting as the PG. Lin who doesn't even touch the ball much had more assist than him. The two passes Harden passed for the 3 were last second passes and it put his team mates in a tough situation to shoot the ball. Thankfull they went in, but taking so much time off before making a play is not good.
was fun watching the rockets play a great team , lets be honest when u saw this on the schedule you had it down for a loss so although we blew it it was a great game to watch lebron is just too good and championship teams and superstar players get superstar calls but for everyone complaining about the bosh phantom call look at the play before where lin did an up and down and passed to patterson for a jumper but the refs didnt call it so it was basically the same , eventually we'll win these games the future is good give it a couple of games , hopefully lin comes back from this even better!
i mean broken almost beyond repair. His confidence must be at an all time low - not good when his confidence was already low to begin with. Well if anyone can come back from this, it's him as he is battle tested being disrepected all his life. But wow, I don't know how you can turn this around when the coaching staff doesn't even believe in you.
if obama went to romney's green room to say congrats it would've been all over the press. This is a link to a story, where OBama called ROmney after he won enough delegates to secure nomination, at this time he had not been officially nominated yet. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/obama-calls-congratulate-romney-170625657.html As the other poster wrongly suggests, Barack did not call Romney to congratulate him on "a spirited campaign" he was talking to the press when he said that, he didnt go call Mitt. THat's the equivalent of a reporter asking Harden about the game and Harden giving LBJ props which is ok, but don't go out of your way to do it. Here's a link to that, once again Barack didnt call Mitt, he was talking to the press http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/obama-to-romney-congratulations-on-spirited-campaign
Jeremy Lin as PG: At least average, maybe decent James Harden as SG: All-Star James Harden as PG: TO-prone ballhog Jeremy Lin as SG: Brick-layer Come on, Rockets coaching staff, put the pieces where they fit.
Are you kidding me? People have been counting this kid out his whole life. Imagine people hurling racial slurs your way since you were balling as a kid. Then he rots on the bench for a whole year, gets cut from his hometown team. Goes to NY, where he rots some more, then gets sent to the D-League twice and is a week or so from getting cut. He overcomes all that, but he's broken beyond repair by a single air ball in a regular season game for a team that isn't even expected to make the playoffs? Get a grip on reality people, one good game and one nice pep talk during Sunday services and he'll be good to go.
Just watched the interview here: http://www.nba.com/rockets/video/postgame-111212-lin He doesn't look broken, you're being dramatic. He looks disappointed, but not broken. If you want to see what broken looks like, watch a $cam Newton postgame interview after a loss.
