I disagree... I think we are better than people give us credit for. Just a matter of time before we start translating these close games to wins. We played some tough opponents this year and despite our age, we have done well.

Harden's ego got a bit too big in those first 2 games. He now thinks he's the second coming of MJ. Lin...eh...i've said all along the dude is an average player and he just keeps proving me right. I really don't see him improving much in his career. He is what he is. And he will probably retire a Rocket b/c Les loves that asian market. It is what it is. Since he's on the team, i'd like to see him do what he does best-attack the damn basket. That part might be on the coach or might be on him not being aggressive enough.
Bosch rebound was awful It was obvious after the freethrow we were going to call timeout. They purposely missed the free throw. Why didn't the coach put in rebounders during the free throw? fail on the coaches.

I don't have a problem with hero ball, but Harden hasn't impressed me enough. 80 mil and 25 mil for our "franchise" stars. Oh are you saying that you knew about NBA coaching? What team did you coach in the NBA? It doesn't take a mad scientist to figure out Harden isn't M.Jordan or Kobe. So for him trying to be the hero isn't right for the team and for the coach to allow that to happen is insane.

Very proud of this game regardless of the results. Also, I have to say I am impressed with Coach Sampson. I was going to use this game as a judgement as to how he coaches. You can see him actively coaching and engaged the whole time. You just also had a sense that he was doing a good job as well. What do you guys think?
I feel the Rox possibly grew up a lot in this game. It sucks they didn't win but it was almost like a playoff atmosphere. Harden is the only Rocket with playoff experience so the team needs to learn how to respond in games like this. I didn't expect them to win but once they started leading and playing well in second half, I'm disappointed they didn't win. Overall, this loss may be blessing in disguise and spring board Rox. I hope so.
If Lin has no confidence on his game, then get out the court! That is a weak player's mentality. The nba is about bringing out your best game day in and day out. Not about relying on a boost of confidence. Lin's game today = fail.
