I've been a comcast customer before, around 2.5 years. I've had DTV and Uverse too. I personally haven't experienced any better or worse service. I mainly switched from comcast out of curiousity for what DTV had to offer but not having rockets game is a no no for me. I'm a bit suprised that after several of my calls asking for status on the negotiations, they didn't offer anything. When I finally call to cancel all they offered with the NFL package. I gave them several chances to gain my loyalty and all I got was the scripted BS that they are negotiating right now. Maybe had they showed an ounce of care in them the loyalty would have kept me. I'm not saying comcast would have been any better but they have the games and the rest of them don't. I also not tied to a contract.
keep in mind, these entry level "reps" you talk to on the phone are in the dark as much as you and i about the negotiation, so you can't expect them to give you freebies left and right or the latest update on when this mess will get resolved.
My friend has the sun network that airs the heat games, would he be able to watch the game or will it be blacked out?
I just noticed the forum clock seems to not have switched for DST. The previous post happened in the future by my watch.
I wonder if the game will be blacked out on Wednesday. Here in the Beaumont area, we now get FSNewOrleans which shows Hornets games. Maybe there's a chance I'll get to watch it on DirecTv
It's very odd that I have CSN Houston feed on channel 757-1 on the LP channels on DirecTV, but no CSN Philly, which comcast is refusing to budge on. Makes me wonder about that. I dont know if the feeds come from the NBA's decision, or by provider. Like Philly and Toronto played, and I never seen TSN on LP, but the game was TSN.
