AJ got hurt. You could tell that he tweaked something after that 3rd catch when Tillman tackled him out of bounds. AJ wasn't the same after that play, basically a non factor for the rest of the game.

Kubiak just mentioned Dobbins and James. Nothing about AJ.

I don't know why the Texans like to hide AJ status but the guy isn't healthy, and hasn't been healthy for awhile now. If you look at that play when Tillman took him out of bounds you see him grimace when he gets up, and he was a non factor the rest of the game. Something happened.

Tillman is a great corner, but AJ was abusing him early on in the game. All of that changed after Tillman drove him into the ground on that play and AJ basically non factor for the rest of the game.

I didn't really see the dirty part either. I didn't really see the "above the shoulders" part of it. It looked to me like Dobbins' pad level was lower than Cutler's and that Dobbins put his helmet to the side of Cutler's. Dobbins loaded up and launched a bit, but it wasn't dirty as far as I could see.

You essentially just said that AJ was a non-factor in three straight posts.

    Bravo and kudos to you.

It wasn't a dirty hit because Cutler became a runner once he past the line of scrimmage. The refs got that call wrong because they admitted that Cutler was past the line of scrimmage on the pass which would make him a runner and not a passer.

NFL is just too creampuff now though, being a QB automatically means your defenseless at all times which is B.S.

No, I said he was a non factor because he got hurt in three staight posts. Big difference.

BTW, I love you too man.

I was in Chicago for the weekend. The number of Texans fans I saw around downtown was amazing. Really impressed to see that turnout. The Texans being this dominant and doing so well is huge for our city's relevance. I hope we keep it up.

    Go Texans!

NSIAP - One of the greatest fan pics I've ever seen as a Texans fan, taking over Chicago pre game.

Does Dobbins just hits like a ton of bricks?...it seems he keeps giving other players concussions more than usual

    O yea..woke up with a smile!

Saw tons of fans throughout the weekend, at bars, and just walking around also like DudeWah said. I was actually surprised by the amount. It was nice to see.

And they say we don't have fans outside of Houston...

Great sight to see! Props to those dedicated fans who made it out to the game last night in that terrible conditions!

once the QB is past the line of scrimmage, doesn't he become vulnerable like any other player? (outside of sliding)

there were some serious inconsistencies on that penalty call...

It was a hit to the head, intentional or not, so he would get fined whether it was a WR or a QB.

Even with a 7am morning meeting, I'm loving life right now. What a fantastic victory.

That was the kind of road upset that defines true contenders. Doing it without Cody, Daniels, or Tate makes it even more astounding.

We're also quietly putting to bed the chatter that Wade Phillips' defense can't contain the run. 102 yards for Foster vs 39 for Forte was essentially the difference. You aren't going to win a game in those conditions trying to survive on the pass.

I hope everyone is pinching themselves and soaking this in. Special seasons like this don't come around often.
