From NBA.com HOUSTON, Sept. 28 — The Houston Rockets have acquired a conditional future first-round draft pick or two future second-round draft picks from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for guard Bryce Drew, Executive Vice President of Basketball Carroll Dawson announced today. ------------------ In order to be a success in life, you need 2 things: 1. Don't tell everything you know.
I would guess it deals with the amount of time Drew plays and where the bulls pick is. ------------------ As the wise Ewok philosopher, Logray, once said, "yub yub"
Can the Rockets decide which pick they prefer, as long as its not lottery or is it all up to Chicago?
I like the two 2nd-rounders scenario. Imagine if we had gotten Othella Harrington and Cuttino Mobley for Bryce Drew?
No telling for sure. I called the Rockets to clarify the conditions of the pick, but they wouldn't release the info. My guess is that it is either/or and that the Trib is just wrong. My guess is that we'll get a first rounder if the Bulls make the playoffs and 2 second-rounders if they are in the lotto. Given that the Bulls are a lock for the lotto, I hope I'm wrong. Fortunately, Rudy can do a lot with a second-round pick. ------------------ Rockets Draft Obligations Summary http://www.gaffordstudios.cjb.net/
