    - Who says Yao Ming can't handle alley oop now? Steve and Mobley just never want to throw one for him. They do at least to Cato all the time!

    - Please sit Moochie.

That last dunk by Yao Steve assisted with only 0.2 seconds was really good! We need more of those.

So far so good. 51-58 halftime Rockets, but nothing is safe anymore.

Minnesota is going to make adjustment during the half time. Let's see if Rudy can counter that in the 3rd quarter.

Yao's had a few tosses for the a-oop before, but he usually isn't expecting it, and isn't in good position. Cato cuts to the basket and goes up for it. Go Yao. Maybe he'll get to liking the feeling, and do it more!
    I hope Cato is ok.

We need to stick with our game plan that is inside-out no matter what.
In addtion we need to take care of the ball better and continue
to play the defense we had in the first half.

Team work, smart tempo, nice mixture of team play and occassional one on one shots.

Will it continue into the second half?

Weakness: nothing new; Troy Hudson (PG) killing us. Seems like you have to go under the pick and let him shoot unless he is comfortable shooting behind the pick.

Strength: assist/team basketball. Looking to pass to teammate - seems like this was a main point worked on/talked about. I saw a pass from Cat to Yao too! :D

Smartest statement for the night came from Murphy, "I'm almost scared to say it, but the difference tonight is that the Rockets aren't playing with a sence of urgencey." Something to that effect. Tempo much better this game, not getting hyper/excited and creating problems for themselfs.

    Second half.......hold your breath.

What i like is they are continuing to mix in the outside shot with attacking the basket. I can't remember when was the last time i saw steve go straight up and try and dunk over someone

The winning formula for us right now is Posey to Yao,
or Yao to Posey, good things always happen when they
    passed around. Keep it up.

We have played really good third quarter, lot of patientce on
offensive end. Yao is tired now. Too bad we don't have Cato for him for the game. Cato is important to Rockets.

All I have to say is: FRAN IS A FRIGGIN' GENIUS.

The guys are playing solid tonight. They're passing well, and making the open shots. I've already seen several passes to Yao inside that I've never seen attempted before. They've gone to him quite a bit in the 3rd quarter.

This is exciting. Yao looks a lot less tired tonight than he has in weeks. Let's hope he's starting to break through that wall!
