does anyone know why juan dixon doesn't get more playing time?

    i was looking at the wizards and each game that dixon has got a chance to play in he has done pretty good and been very productive with his minutes. i can't believe that tyronne lue is better than dixon and he gets about 20 min/game. anyone have any idea why dixon doesnt play more?

    yeah but kwame hasn't always been very productive when he has got minutes

    Dixon was a good college player. He's too light in the a** to be a good NBA player. He's just not strong enough, and he is no where as quick as Tyrone Lue. Do you remember what Tyrone Lue did to Allen Iverson in the Finals in 01' when he played for the Lakers? He shut him down.

    well lue only has 18 steals the whole season playing 21.7 min/game for 47 games. dixon has 11 steals in 14 games only playing 12.5 min/game. dixon is also 3 inches taller than lue and from what i remember dixon is pretty quick himself.

    if by shut down you mean fouled the crap out of him, then you are correct. It just wasnt called. Heck lue even admitted to fouling like a wild man.

    Point is Lue is servicable, he can even run the point, Dixon is a classic case of "Tweener", not good enough to run the point, too small and not athletic enough for shooting guard.

    tweener's don't usually have that problem between the point and shooting guard. size is important for guards but not nearly as important as it is for inside players like forwards and centers.
