some people(like me with Suddenlink) live in areas where comcast isnt even available. So even if I wanted to pay and order I can't.

I like the Rockets and the Astros. If I didn't, I wouldn't post on a basketball site. But my love of the Rockets/Astros isn't enough to make me switch to Comcast just so I can watch the Rockets.

I have a set amount I pay for my cable and internet package with U-Verse. Why should I upset my budget just so the Rockets and Astros can make a few more bucks? Its not like either team is hurting for money. So since the local teams aren't going out of their way to make deals with U-Verse, Directv and Dish, I'm not going out of my way to switch to Comcast.

    End of rant.

The problem is not your willingness to pay the extra $3.40 per month. I would pay that too. Problem is CSN wants the TV providers to pay them $3.40 per subscriber no matter whether that subscriber is going to watch the channel or not. It's a rip off. I don't want to watch the CSN, I would only be forced to because they show the Rockets...if the Rockets were on CNN then I would watch that channel instead, if the Rockets were on Telemundo then I would watch that .... F**K CSN

I thought that the national games were the only ones 'us' exiles could watch until the TV deal goes through? Now they are blocking that too? WTF!!!

For ESPN and TNT (and of course ABC), yes. For NBA TV, no. Unfortunately, the Rockets are only scheduled for 2 games on those networks, December 25 @ Chicago and March 8 @ Golden State.

You can watch/record this or any Rocket's game on NBATV when its replayed at 2am. I live around 70 miles north of Houston and the replays aren't blacked out on Dish...hope this helps.

Insult to injury, Max. Finally the spring training games will be on tv...and neither of us can watch them. There is no justice.

How about a front page story on clutchfans.com?

How about the same sort of advocacy (or even 1/100th the advocacy) the site showed toward "Save Our Rockets?"

How about not unstickying the only thread that's even relevant to 60% of us at least?

How about not pretending there's a normal season going on when most of the Clutchfans fan base (and not just the Rockets' fan base) are left out in the cold?

EDIT: I just saw that the thread had been re-stickied. Thanks to whoever did that. I was reacting to how long the only Rockets story, for so many of us, was for so long in danger of slipping off the front page.
