He was coming off the bench, because there was 7.5 defensive rating difference when he was on the floor(107.5), or when he wasn't(100.0). His defensive awareness is just terrible, there isn't any other way around. And that two trick pony is not non-sense, it's the fact. He's got no midrange game. I've never seen him in triple threat position or taking fadeway jumper. That's why he was so efficient scoring last season, which was OK when he was third option, but when you are first option you have to able to score in last minutes when defenses tighten up and he is not capable of doing that. 1-8 FG vs. Blazers in 4th quarter and OT. One field goal in last 17 minutes of play? When he score more than one field, they you can start comparing him to Durant, Kobe..
He was coming off the bench because they had enough scoring starting the game...not only that he was just fine with coming off the bench and was playing STARTING minutes. So he was basically the starter. Guess you've missed the Rockets games. I love how you just bring up the Blazers game, I'm sure you are just going to bring up any bad game he had and go "You see, that's it! Right there!" lets just ignore him completely taking over in the first two games, hell lets just ignore him last night that despite having a bad night he pretty much negated Iggy and even start to make plays down the stretch to help give his team a shot.
Westbrook "left 11 mil" that he couldn't get elsewhere anyway. And Ibaka has to prove that he's still progressing for teams to throw max at him, which so far he's not; if he plays for the rest of the season the way he's playing right now, he's hardly even worth the money he got. So I don't know that he left any money at all. Harden was asked to leave 6 mil (or really ~10 mil, because the max is likely to go up) that he was very likely to get if he waited till the summer. A big difference.
Lol, Westbrook is either attack the rim or shoot an off balance mid range shot. He can't even run the pick and roll that effectively.
BAd shooting game yes. But 9 assists and 1 turnover?? That's pretty damn good. His shooting is way off to start the season though.
Westbrook is always having a bad game, his had like 2 good games the entire year, hopeless. Watch them lose to a Roseless chicago for sure so bad.
coach should sit him the entire 4th, deadset just try it out cause having him in is not going to help your team at all. Rollout Maynor, Martin, Thabo, Durant and Perkins. Best chance to win but hey go for it bring back Westbrook, help the rockets out
Ah. Didn't look at the boxscore, just was going off when I was randomly looking up to watch the game. Probably should've checked that first. Or actually watched the game.
Yea if you watch, their offense is fine. Their defense and rebounding are where they're losing. Oh yea, you're watching LOL
do you really want durant defending 4s in this line up? i mean he was getting murdered whenever lebron took him down the block.
They have played 4 games TOTAL this year. A pretty much Rose-less Chicago got the #1 seed last year in the East. This team can play without Rose in the reg. season, and they're at home. A rose-less Chicago Bulls beat the Heat TWO TIMES last year.
Oh I thought you're watching the games. Don't you see how many times they sag off of WB off of WB/KD's pick and roll. What do you want him to do? Pass to Perkins or Thabo??? He has to and must shoot that all the time or penetrated. He's just missing shots. He makes them and they're blowing out the Bulls. You take what the defense gives you. Bulls are daring WB to make those midrange Js and 3s, and he's bricking them. His shot has been inconsistent to start the season. A great defense like the Bulls will give WB those shots all day.
