    Agree with this lineup! Smith should start. If Parsons is lacking confidence, I'd be fine playing big with whoever is doing well. For example if Patpat continues to show signs, I'd play Pat with Smith and Asik upfront. It's not like Parsons is shooting lights out, and I'm not sure he is adding that much dribbling the ball around uptop when Lin or Harden could do the same thing. I'd be fine sticking Delfino, Jones, or White in at the 3 as well depending upon matchups.

    Reasoning makes sense. I'd be willing to try this. Really don't mind dropping a few games here and there. Let's give everyone a chance and see what happens. That's what Lin waited for, and see what happened.

    Lin - Game Manager
    Harden - #1 Option
    Morris - Better offensive threat at position
    Montie - Best shooter at position
    Asik - Defense/Rebounds

    Bench

    Machado - best pure point guard we have
    Delfino - 3 point shooter
    Parsons - Good defense off the bench..
    Jones - Brings energy/attitude
    Patterson - Would be a great backup Center, Imo

    Fighting for mins - White/Cook/Cole/Douglas/Smith

    I think Jones will be the starter next year, but expect he still needs time developing. Patterson has earned more time there.

    Parsons..I think he is the one if any on thin ice at the moment. I could see Delfino replacing him to give Harden and Lin more room to work. I have not seen Morris at the 3 so I don't know if he can defend that position.

    My starting lineup wouldn't change, but my rotation.. wouldn't include Douglas

    I'll add in Jones, White (want to see him run the offense) and even see if Cook can get his shot back.

    You're obviously new to the Rockets b/c it doesn't sound like you watched Parsons at all last year. He is in a slump, he'll get out of it.

    Replace Delfino with Morris and you have something there. I say let him play and develop while the team is still young and no one expecting more than .500 team this season. At least he'll boost his trade value...or hurt it, but I don't see that happening.
