In Florida, Obama waiting on 36% of Miami-Dade and 16% of Broward. Romney waiting on Santa Rosa County (which hasn't reported anything yet) in the Panhandle and 15% from Brevard County.
Oh, come on, jo. Are you kidding me? Obama could take this country in quite a nasty direction ( and I emphasize the "could"), but "if we still exist?" Care to explain that?
looks like the President will win Florida. Most of the returns are in from the state's counties, except for the heavily Democratic counties in South Florida, and Obama is holding a 1% lead. When those counties come in, and they are slow, you'll see that lead go up. Obama's going to win Ohio. He's won Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, New Hampshire. Colorado looks pretty good. Romney is toast, folks. Start the party!
The upset of all time? How do you figure that when, since all this began, Obama has ALWAYS been in the lead regarding the Electoral College. MAYBE...a majority of Americans are better off than they were 4 years ago. MAYBE...Romney wasn't that great of a candidate. MAYBE...all the lies about unemployment not going down, etc. didn't hold. MAYBE...the American people saw the Benghazi incident for what it really was. MAYBE...that first debate didn't do as much damage as we all thought. MAYBE...just as the Republican pundits made all these doom-and-gloom predictions about how we would be by 2012, most of which didn't come true, the same dire predictions, like what you're making, are all hogwash. Or...replace DEFINITELY with MAYBE on most of those and there you go.
Why? You don't understand anything about math, polling, elections, or any number of other things. Which is actually fine - lots of people don't. But they don't ignorantly spout off nonsense as though they do know something. That makes you an idiot.
Umm...no. We've had to deal with the uncivility and lies of people like BigTexxx, Basso, Commodore...nope, we're going to do a bit of rubbing it in, then let it go.
I'm sorry that jopat is having a horrible night and will lose his bet, but on the bright side, I won't miss his thread where he keeps pretending to know what Morey is thinking.
I was talking with a woman in FL about the election. She said she voted for hussein, so I asked her what he has done to deserve your vote. She replied, "she liked his wife."
The problem is Jopatmc has been so bombastic and loud that he deserves every bit of shame that's coming. He purposefully baited this response and started multiple threads with the sole intent to troll. He was delusional, irrational and, too no one's surprise, wrong.
