Yep, this is why most of the pro-Dwight traders were so adamant about it. Simply illogical to think he'd walk away from all that dough. Still, if Morey Doesn't at least give Dwight/CP3 a phone call when they are UFA, he's not doing his job.

Dwight is coming to Houston, simple as that. He has nowhere else to go, Morey will be felated by all when my prophecy comes true.

I'd like to see how Dwight will work with Nash in more games before getting him here. Because if Nash can't work with Dwight, I think he'll break our team chemistry completely.

Stop dreaming. He's a Laker. Just spent 20 million on a new house, he's there to stay.

This would tarnish his image even further..and you know Dwight loves the glory and being praised too much.

Kevin Love would be so ****ing perfect. The absolute best we could pair with Harden.

I see nil chance that Dwight wouldn't take that max extension in LA. In two years basically every contract they have will expire and they can build a team around Dwight while he's just entering his prime.

    1) Max Contract
    2) Big Market
    3) Top Dog

I wish the Lakers nothing but ill, but there's no chance Dwight doesn't sign. Rockets will need to look elsewhere.

It's pretty much a forgone conclusion that Dwight stays in LA. Having said that, would anyone really have a problem with Morey giving it the ole' college try, iPad and all? One sit down could change everything. If not, we move on to the next one, no harm done.

Would like to see Morey fire up the IPAD and make the long shot run at Bynum next summer. If that fails, save the cap room for 2014 (Summer of LeBron II, et al), no one else is max worthy (other than CP3 and D12, both of whom aren't leaving LA).

If the Nash Howard Kobe experiment failed, I don't see why Lakers would want Howard there and Howard want to be a Lakers. Houston's style fits him better because it involved two guards that attack the basket and create havoc leaving him wide open all the time for dunks.

I think 3 things would have to happen for Dwight to leave the Lakers:

    1) Miss the playoffs or get hammered in the first round
    2) Major personal issue either with coach or several players
    3) He just ends up hating LA

Kobe is the reason why he will stay in LA(my humble opinion).
I don't want hiim in Houston because of his bad attitude. Harden needs a warrior in the front court, not a prima donna.

People can hate all they want but better believe Morey will go all in on Dwight. He want's Dwight desperately and if not for the Magic stupid gm he would be a Rocket by now.You mean to tell me Dwight want at least listen to what Morey has to sell him on,I mean if you were Dwight which core would you rather play for the next 5yrs Kobe/Nash/Gasol or Harden/Lin/Asik/Parsons?

For people to say we have no shot is just stupid,I mean Dwight is as fickle as they come you never know with him,he could ditch LA just like he did Orlando. Also I don't think Dwight/Kobe is a good mix, those 2 will butt heads before the season is over, mark my words.

Dwight to Houston make it happen Morey!

Howard has thin skin. Let's hope Kobe slaps him in the head as well.

We'd all love to have Love, but he's under contract for a while, Minny looks to be pretty good, and most of our assets are now in OKC. How on earth would we get him?

You have too many assumptions going on. This is the Lakers. LAKERS. DH has already proved that he's more about the fame and lifestyle than about winning, if he was serious about contending he would have done a LBJ and convened with CP3 and Dirk to play in Dallas.

Secondly, there was a reason why DM wanted to gamble on DH even if he was threatening to leave, if DH leaves the Lakers in FA he would be leaving money on the table. I don't know the exact numbers but IIRC it's similar to Harden money, like 1 more year at max or something.

Finally, the Lakers being the Lakers will rape another team to get another talent to come play with DH. CP3? LBJ? Kyle Irving? Hell even Kevin Love...a Gasol for Love trade isn't that farfetched if Love becomes disgruntled and said he'd only play for the Lakeshow.
