I got a pretty open Political Sci prof, and there is a presentation due next week, which is part of our final research proposal. We can pick any topic to present a "RESEARCH QUESTION" and said RESEARCH QUESTION should be able to be built on for the final paper which will be a research proposal. As I said the topic can be anything, but I still can't find a question to present to my class. It should be as simple as: The relationship between X and Y is affected by blank. Considering this is an introductory course this project/presentation should be simple to me but I have not been able to think of an idea. Here is what she said for us to do in an email This presentation should effectively state a research question or hypothesis that you will propose to explore. Any variables or concepts under exploration should be well-defined (conceptualized) and you should discuss how you anticipate being able to measure these in your research. Remember, you won’t actually be collecting data or running experiments, but you should be able to explain how you would be doing those things in your research proposal by the end of the semester. Some of you more scholarly members...HELP BRAHHS -KnM
Why aren't there any videos of T-Mac passing the ball? Followed by in depth research on YouTube and quotes from ClutchFans.
If you all you have to do is design an experiment and explain how you would collect data etc. a good thing would be an experiment designed to figure out the perception of america abroad and the factors that drive that perception. Might be a good topic in a political science class, and I've always found it to be interesting.
How bout, how asking a group of random strangers on the internet for a research topic is better than coming up with one on your own. You could describe the pros and cons (i.e. Pro: less work for you) and also make a list of your own ideas and attempt to compare them to ideas generated here, (though how to measure how good an idea is would be difficult). In other words the hypothesis: Getting other people to do my work is better for me, than if I did it on my own. I'd love for this to be in your paper: Since I had extra free time because my "brahs" at clutchfans were hard at work on my paper, I asked the cute girl out in my psych class to a movie and afterwards we had sex. So right there was a huge positive for me: more sex. Sounds like an "A" like project to me.
Thanks guys reading your ideas got me thinking that since it is a poly Sci class the teacher will give me kudos for a related topic, I thought of something "hipster" since its college: How does income inequality affect economy growth? How would I do research for that question? Some questions that I could gauge and have a frequency chart on. And then have a null hypothesis, hypothesis etc. something I could put in say a power point?
