http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8596367/las-vegas-sportsbooks-took-big-beating-week-9-nfl-season Black Sunday for all bookies: "Up until this week, the books were doing well," said Vaccaro, a spokesman for William Hill North America, which sets the lines for 150 sportsbooks in Nevada. "There were a good deal of underdogs winning outright, and we were holding an above-normal percentage. But yesterday, all the biggest favorites were winning, and we knew pretty early on it was going to be a bad day." Without hesitation, Vaccaro called it "the worst single, regular-season, day I've ever seen." Vaccaro said his sportsbooks did so badly because of the stakes of the game today. "Years ago, you had about 25 percent of your business tied up in parlays," Vaccaro said. "Now, I think we're coming close to 75 percent of our business is in parlays. People are taking $60 to $70 and hoping it lands every once in a while." Sportsbooks owned by William Hill paid out $10,400 to a gambler who bet $100 total on seven teams, $12,750 to a bettor who bet $15 that his 10 teams would win and $15,000 to a gambler who threw $5 down on a 12-team parlay.
Yesterday was the best day I've ever had with sports gambling... 7/8 on single bets plus a four-game parlay. Not too shabby
Man I love these stories. Lucky assholes! Anyways, today will be going 5 team parlay, money line: NE, DEN, SF, PIT & NYG
Miami + 1.5 @ Buff I know they got their doors blown out by Tenn but I'm going to read up on the fallout and determine if they can bounce back. I expect Miami to run the ball easily on Buff and stuff the buff run game.
Where are the CF degenerates? I don’t see Chicago moving the ball on SF defense. I don’t expect the 9ers to have much more success but enough to cover -3.5 I expect Kaper to give the 9er faithful a glimpse of the future. 180 yards Passing 70 yards rushing 2TDs (1 pass & 1 rush) SF covers -3.5 SF 20 – Chi 10
Hit another 3 team teaser last week. Going for another this week as teasers seems to be where I'm hitting the most.
Hit on a 3-game parlay yesterday AND won my pick em league for the week. Waiting on 2 Fanduels to end. Gonna be a nice haul.
Oakland looks like they've mailed it in. Clev is getting 1.5 @ Oakland. Looking for Trent to go off for a buck 50, 3 tds & clev to win outright.
Other than Clev i'm thinking about taking Nola plus the points.....Their D played well last week against San Fran so i feel ok about taking them against Atl.
