From Cameroun, been playing basketball for a year... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qBwSvIOOzMo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Class of 2013 but only played one year. That means he will have to play at least three(probably four) years of college to get everything down, right now he would get killed. And even then it will be extremely difficult to convince scouts that he's NBA material.
On the other hand, he's 7 feet tall. NBA Scouts don't mind as much taking risks on 7 footers with upside.
If he does not learn to do something besides dunk he will not amount to much in the NBA. He looks like a slow jumper as well. Good luck to the kid though, hopefully he will get some good coaching.
I thought he looked really fluid for his age, his size at his age, and his experience. There were a couple jumpers in there. Some sign of ball handling ability. One real nice spin move. Lots of dunks sure - that's natural. Shaq's highlight include lots of dunks, too. I see pro potential. Might not get there, but definite potential. He has offers from Kansas, Florida, Marquette, Virginia... Visited Texas.
you cant be serious. for someone his age and only playing basketball for a year and having that kind of skill is not normal. I will admit that he looks very weak, but the kid can dribble and get up pretty fast for someone his size. there is nothing in this video that makes him look to be a slow jumper.
Looks pretty smooth to me. Usually kids that grow that fast are really uncoordinated. Plus he has some decent moves for someone who has only played for one year.
