Miami would be terrible for him. He would be the 3rd playmaker on the team, and he's a poor spot-up shooter. Lin also doesn't have the personality of a role player.
the trade scenario may be fantasy, but isn't getting Lowry back and getting rid of Lin what a lot of "real fans" want? I'm not talking about LOHs here. Why would you old timers who have no love for Lin but think about Lowry daily be oppose to this?
Because its an unrealistic fake trade? I would love Lowry or Dragic back, but we are not getting them back by trading Lin. Toronto isn't giving him up for Jennings. This trade isn't happening. The best you can hope for right now is for Lin to continue to improve. Maybe he'll turn out even better or at least just as good.

yeah it's unrealistic fake trade... remember lebron and bosh to miami, howard and nash to lakers and harden to rockets. and remember the reason lowry is out of houston because he and mcfail did not have good relationship... what if one day lowry wake up and suddenly he think Dwane Casey is an idiot, a whack and a toilet paper. felton is back in new york so the possibility lowry getting back to rockets are possible. btw lin also came back to houston remember
You're so daft. How long have you been a Rockets fan? 2 hours? We just traded Lowry away over the summer and the Rockets don't have a return policy on point guards who have attitude problems.
