I feel ashamed to be a Rocket fan right now!

The Rockets look good on paper. They have many talented guys, Francis, Ming, Posey, Mobley, Griffin, and others. However, all this talent is being wasted.

It's too bad to see all the talent go to waste.

Well said, this team is a joke and things need to change soon. Next season we need to see a new point (w/ steve at the 2) and definitely a new coach. We need some new blood or even just a coach who seems to give a damn!

I was out dealing with truck problems. I was pleased when I got home at half time, but I also understood we had two more quarters to play basketball. Apparently the Rockets did not.

I was bound to snap sooner or later! :) Seriously, I don't want to go as far as say that Rudy sucks, though he is making REALLY hard to defend him, but this team seems to me to be regressing. This team needs to learn to fight through adversity, but they are laying down more and more. Look at the two Mavs games and the Pistons game over the last week. The offense is brutal, it's not getting better, and that is scary. Rudy should be drilling it into the players minds "Give Yao the ball, give Yao the ball", instead I see them freezing Yao out and how does Rudy respond? By benching Yao during important stretches. What the heck am I missing here? Is Moochie worth 2 dollars? Well by god, lets play Moochie while Finley is destroying us! Why put Hawkins on him when we can play Moochie and allow Dallas to just brutalize us with match-up nightmares! It's like we're on some bizarro world, or in some nightmarish part of Rudy's mind! Wake up Rudy, PLEASE!

I guess the thing that sickens me the most about Rudy is that the guy never makes any damn adjustments .

I mean it is like he has made up in his mind that he is going to play Moochie, Francis, and Mobley at the same time for at least 6 minutes or so in the second half, regardless of the score. Or my favorite - he is going to sit down both Yao AND Francis at the same time at some point (sometimes more than once) in the game.

I mean WTF is up with that ****?? You have Cato, Mo, Moochie, Posey, and Mobley out there. So, Mobley is our only offensive guy out there...great:rolleyes:

It seems like Rudy lost his desire to grow some grapefruits a long time ago with this bunch. The sad thing is that until he gets that desire again (if he ever had it in the first place) to grow those grapefruits, this thing is only going to get worse.:(

Wow. That was so painful to watch. With the upcoming schedule, we may be in for some UGLY games. This skid is really wearing on the players. I don't think we have guys that would start fights like they were doing tonight unless they were extremely frustrated.

Maybe these a** whoopings lately will trigger something good.

I as a Raptor fan feel your pain. We have to deal with an equally crappy coach over here.

I remember when I used to be bashed for starting these types of threads...

    Anyway, I agree.

The Rockets panicked when things started going wrong and Posey in particular got physical when he didn't need too.I agree with Walton that the Mavs acted in a classy way when our guys got physical with them but I don't agree with him when he condoned Raja Bell for pulling Steve's jersey.Steve did crash into him first but Bell didn't do the right thing either and Walton just said it wasn't a big deal.
I'm not ashamed to be a Rockets fan even though nothing is going right for us now. I don't think we are going to make it to the playoffs but it's still possible to make it. We have to learn from our mistakes and fight hard.

No, but the defense sure was. The Mavs should have won this game by 50, they were missing wide open jumpers the entire first half.

    Totally agree!

Nelson made a great adjustment by going to a zone late in first half. That took away our guards' penetration and allowed them to gang up on Yao.

So what did the well coached Rox do? Didn't have any clue how to answer so they just jacked up heaves, turned the ball over, and turned the game into a run-and-gun shootout.

    PLEASE STEP INTO MY WEB:mad:

RT is clueless and his guards continue to ignore him. I'll say this for the gazillionth time:

Whole < Sum of the Parts

    Ashamed??

    ROTLMAO

Why not become a Jazz fan then? Then you can root for a thug coach who screams at role players and shoves referees. Cheating, screaming, no class punks!!!

I think we need to count our blessings. There is not a Jazz player/coach that has ever had more class than at least a dozen Rockets/Coaches...starting with Rudy.

I'm here River. That was a good first half, and we got taught a lesson in the second...about humility. We got video to show the team how they executed well against a lame ass Dallas defense, and we got a memory of getting spanked by a playoff team determined to put us in our place.

As oeilpere would say, "I'm licking my wounds today."

I wish you Rudy Bashers would get some black Nike High Tops, a purple mini-blanket, eat some pudding, and catch a ride on Hale Bob.

The Rockets had a sh!tty game. Hell they've had a crapload of sh!tty games of late. So fire Rudy? You're nuts. The Rox need to grow up, look at how the Mavs, Kings, and (lately) Golden State behave. Their problem is not talent or knowledge it is behaviour. Posey made me wretch. And that f4cking look on his face! He's usually not but last night he was a straight up street thug. The wry little 'i'm a badass' smile.

Yeah, that's something I want to affiliate with.

And it wasn't just that gangsta. The whole team is acting rattled. I can't think of a better word. They are playing with no confidence. Theya re playing like strangers to eachother.

Rudy T should rent a high school gymnasium and a bunch of long cots and make these guys live together, eat together, go potty together, knit together, whatever the hell they do, do it TOGETHER. I live down the street from a Rocket and I can assure you, 'da boys' ain't hanging out at his crib on off nights.

I am so pissed. If I was in Footloose right now I would start dancing in a big barn looking warehouse place. But I'm not and I don't dance so I guess I'll just b**** to you guys.
