you are required by law to turn off your high beams when you are within 500 feet of oncoming.traffic. If you are the idiot who just blinded me on Groschke Rd despite me flashing my high beams to signal you, I hope you die from excessive anal trauma.

Also, while on the subject, you are never supposed to use your high beams in a lighted highway, particularly when you are 20 feet behind me.

I swear, in the past month I've emcountered more people misusing their high beams tham I could even count.

Yeah, no crickets from me. I'm with you.

What do they teach in driver's ed, or is this just part of the "nobody exists if they are not in my contacts list" modern culture?

Otto, I often let a high beam person get around me and then blast them. It's true; I'm not proud of it. :(

When I'm driving on country highways, I get "flashed" a lot as if I have my high beams on, but in reality, I almost never use them. I guess my headlights are just really bright.

You shouldn't be such an angry person.

Getting angry when someone recklessly endangers your life is an entirely appropriate response.

I don't know that I'd call that recklessly endangering your life. If that's what you consider danger, you must live a pretty dull life.

Honestly, are you familiar with the road in question? Have you ever been on it?

This is unfortunately an ongoing and worsening problem in the Hill Country, Otto, and a HUGE pet peeve of mine. It is incredibly dangerous on these hilly curvey roads at night. Only explanation I have is that lots of ex-urbanites move up here and really don't have much common sense.

Strange. I've encountered more people without headlights on, when they should be, than ever before in the past month or so.

I flashed my lights at one, not knowing there was a cop behind them. The cop immediately pulled them over.
