The best centrottopn in the league is for sacrament with Divac, Pollard, and Clark. even though Pollard has been hurt.
I like the combo. There are a lot of different ways to use it. Ming high, Cato low. Double low. 3-2 zone. All Cato needs is some stickum and the combo is sweet. I think it can even be effective against a quick, slippery inside team like Dallas. They are weak inside, they want to pull us out. No. Shove it down their throat. If they deny Ming, Cato is open for the slam. If they go man, hit the big man closest to the hole. Slam slam slam. No jumpers needed v. La Frentz and Nowitzki. Please. That's their game. I also don't ming Collier coming in at 4 some. Or Taylor shooting and passing from the 3 spot. Or Posey getting some 2. It' good to be bigger and stronger.
In the Rockets scheme he probably plays the 4 better than Cato too. Kelvin poses no threat to score away from the basket..leaving his defender the option of doubling Yao or just clogging the paint ..stopping Steve from driving and making it even harder to make entry passes.
I'm sorry, but after you so vehemently argued yesterday, that Steve is keeping Yao out of the offense, you turn around and say Rudy doesn't play Yao that much because he's worried about mpg, yet you want Yao to be the focal point, and Steve Francis is the one standing in the way. Too funny
Cato has been playing very well, and I was glad to see him continue to do so while alongside Yao, not only for the good of the team, but because people posted threads about trying out this on-court combo....and got slammed, I mean slammed hard, I'm talking "prison-buggered" slammed. Cato still has little offense but his D is good and his rebounding numbers are outstanding. Keep it up, Cato. God knows we need it.
Yep, panning whatever her name is and the Rocket cheerleaders makes the game more interesting. Besides, showing Collier's better half only demonstrates how smart he is. Of course, I should have posted those comments under an alias. If my girlfriend reads that, I'm toast -- without any butter or jam!
We have experienmented with the 3G lineup way too much. It just doesn't work most of the time. Time to throw in the "Sky-line" lineup with Yao, Kato, EG, KT and Moochi mending the PG position. RT, hope you give a try very soon...
Did we get KT back. I think we can get him back cheap in the off season since he is not getting any minutes in Philly.
cato and yao could play together and when yao needs a breather, they can move someone into the four spot and move cato the five. That is all rudy, the way he decides to make his rotation, but cato and yao on the floor does sound pretty good
