Who would have been perfect to round out a Big 3 that included Yao and T-Mac?

I was hoping we got pierce back then. Was doing all kinds of trade scenarios with battier and multiple picks and then BAM! They got Ray Allen and KG.

But a perfect 3rd player for me would be Dirk. Another player other than Tmac that will command double team just by standing in the court. There will be not be able to play zone against Yao, nor double Yao, and certainly not able to play small to negate Yao. Not when you have another 7footer that will just shoot over you.

    Tmac
    Lebron
    Garnett
    Dirk
    Yao

This team would have won at least 5 championships.

    Stupid thread is stupid.

CD made the ridiculous claim that the addition of Battier gave us the Big 3.
We couldn't even get out of the 1st round until Ron Artest came on board.

Battier's trading value along with multiple picks was never good enough to be able to get Pierce.
