Kmart could have easily put up 30 had Westbrook actually play the pg position.

Kmart can score more if Westbrook will pass him the ball

I think K-Mart is going to be 6th man of the year.

Kmart looked pretty good overall. He looked kinda nervous at first but once the game went on he was looking comfortable. His defense wasn't that bad. He just gets floored by screens though. Westbrook definitely needs to look to pass. Westbrook has to hit Kmart in transition, off-screens, backdoor cuts, etc. Kmart looked solid though despite the fact that Russ was hogging the ball.

Kmart will get a top of spot up open shots. If a team like the Spurs doubled KD/WB on almost every touch, KMart will be pretty damn good for them. They'll miss Harden's playmaking though. But Kmart will score 15+ easily every night. WB/KD will bear more of the playmaking burden.

OKC will be fine. WB had a terrible game last night, with a few new players, and they should have won last night's game on the road vs a top 5 team in the league.

Kevin will score well for them, but when they get into the playoffs and he is playing matador D, it's gonna hurt OKC.

I was happy for KMart. He was really trying, still struggles a little on defense but his man wasn't a big factor in Spurs offense anyway. I kept getting the sense that Westbrook didn't accept him, but maybe I'm just seeing something that's not there. Then again, Westbrook kept making dumb plays, getting broken down on defense and generally playing out of control. It was obvious he wasn't really trying to get the rest of his team involved. Still, they took the Spurs down to the wire, only to have Spurs bailed out by Parker. I credit some of that to KMart, so kudos to him.

One note, did anyone see when KMart tried help Westbrook up, and Westbrook pulled his arms back like a pouty baby and shunned his help?

It's not like the Spurs are supposed to be the superior team here, plus they were on the second night of a back to back and playing without their Harden, that's why people want to ring the alarm, but then again, it was only the first game for OKC.

K-Mart is going to get manhandled by the Heat defense.
Granted OKC even makes the finals.
